IN STORE SIDEWAYS DAYTONA PROTOTYPE SERIES
A point series for tracks at the following store locations:
Great Traditions (GTSLOTS), Phila., PA (6/5/2010 & 8/7/2010)
Race Wear, Glen Burnie, MD (6/19/2010 & 7/24/2010)
Main Line Hobbies, East Norriton, PA (6/26/2010 & 7/17/2010)
RC Refurb, Etc., Willingboro, NJ (7/10/2010 & 8/21/2010)
For Great Traditions races, track open 10am, race starts 1pm.
Entry fee: $10
There will be 2 races at each store. Racers need 16 points to qualify for the final race. Racers can race all races. No trophies for qualifing races. You are racing for points. A portion of the entry fee will go to the cost of trophies for the final race, which will be at RC Refurb, Etc.
Note: Motors and tires are not handed out. Tech inspection is done after the race, to the top 4 positions. If your car doesn’t pass tech inspection you don’t get points for that race.

1st place 6 points
2nd place 5 points
3rd place 4 points
4th place 3 points
any place 2 points
The following rules apply to the races held at GTSLOTS:
-Running Voltage: 12V DC
-Running Track: GTSLOTS Carrera Track (click here for a picture of the layout)
-Cars Allowed: Racer Sideways Daytona Prototype (click here for example pictures of eligible cars)
-Chassis: No Modifications Allowed. Any slot.it pod allowed. Slot.it suspension kits allowed, spacers on body posts allowed.
-Body: Custom Paint Allowed, must have interior- Racer lexan allowed .
-Gears: Modifications Allowed, Slot.it parts only.
-Bushings: Modifications Allowed, Slot.it parts only.
-Wheels/Axle: Modifications Allowed, Slot.it parts only. No F1 wheels.
-*Tires: Slot.it Silicone Only, No F1 tires. No Tire Treatments Allowed. May be Sanded.
-Electrical: Motor Noise Filter Not Required.
-Magnet: No Magnet.
-Motor: Slot.it orange endbell, 21,500RPM only. Motor RPM of top 3 finishers will be checked, must not exceed 23,100 RPM (approx. 7.5% over mfg. rating) Drivers may elect to have motor RPM checked by GTSLOTS prior to race to ensure compliance. Motor must have undamaged metal tabs. Cutting the shafts are allowed.
-Weight: Weight Allowed, interior only
-Vehicle Ground Clearance: .040"
-Guide Blade: Modifications Allowed, Slot.it parts only. May use any 1/32 manufactures braid.
POST-RACE TECH INSPECTION WILL BE DONE ON TOP 3 FINISHERS. COMPLIANCE WITH ABOVE SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE CHECKED. THOSE NOT IN COMPLIANCE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED, WITH NEXT PLACE FINISHER MOVING UP A SPOT.
